A true masterpiece born from years of experience! Explore the Tien Shan by snowmobile and snowcat – and sleep in a cozy yurt!

We present a trip that combines the best ways to experience freeride in wild, untamed mountains – and the Tien Shan in Kyrgyzstan definitely fits the bill. Snowmobiles and a snowcat will take us to untouched powder runs, and one full day will be spent riding in the largest ski resort in Central Asia. • Camp with 2-person yurts equipped with heated floors, a bathroom, and access to a sauna

Day 1 (February 7)

We fly from Warsaw and/or Krakow with one layover to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

Day 2

We arrive in Bishkek in the morning and head to our 4-star hotel in the city center. With a free day ahead, we’ll explore the local bazaar and enjoy a meal at a traditional Kyrgyz restaurant. The capital of Kyrgyzstan offers a unique time-travel experience, blending Soviet-era ambiance with Asian folklore and a touch of modernity. In the evening, we’ll check out the local bars and see what the nightlife has to offer 😉

Day 3

In the morning, after breakfast, we head into the mountains. On the way, we’ll stop for lunch at a roadside “nomad’s bar,” while the landscape gradually turns more wintry. The long transfer is more than made up for by the stylish yurts with heated floors, beautifully set in a valley by the river. A hot banya (Russian sauna), a traditional Kyrgyz dinner, and a meeting with our guide – who will explain the plan for the coming days – await us.

Day 4

Over breakfast, we can already hear the roar of the snowmobiles waiting for us – our ride up the mountain for the day. You can either sit behind the driver or be towed on a rope behind the snowmobile. Just 10-15 minutes and we’re at the top, ready to ride down untouched, pristine snow. And then we do it all over again 😉
In the evening: a mandatory sauna session, a plunge into the icy river, and a bit of local cognac for that extra boost of resilience.

Day 5

Second day of snowmobile-powered fun. We’re aiming for another 5 – 6 runs, and after dinner we transfer to Karakol, where we’ll spend the next two nights in a hotel – perfectly located for our upcoming mountain adventures.

Day 6

This day will be packed with action. We’ll head to a nearby resort, where the top lift station opens up lots of freeride options – including the possibility of heading even higher by snowmobile. If there’s interest, we can also set off on a backcountry tour with skins. In the afternoon, we’ll go on a boat cruise on Lake Issyk Kul, complete with a sauna and a barbecue on board 😉

Day 7

In the morning, we’ll head to another valley where, in addition to snowmobiles, we’ll also have access to a snowcat. The idea is similar, but the snowcat has a large cabin so we can all ride up together. For the next three days, we’ll be exploring a new area, laying down beautiful lines in fresh powder. In the afternoon, we’ll gather at a quirky après-ski bar for some bonding time, and in the evening – sauna and a hot tub session.

Days 8 and 9

From the morning on, we’ll be riding freeride with the snowcat. Our playground includes several peaks and dozens of descent options!

Day 10

After breakfast, we head back toward Bishkek. On the way, we’ll stop at hot springs by Lake Issyk-Kul and, if time allows, visit a canyon and a local felt souvenir workshop. If conditions are epic, there’s also an option to squeeze in one last freeride session (optional). We’ll arrive at the Bishkek airport late in the evening.

Day 11

In the early hours of the morning, we board our return flight. By morning, we land back in Warsaw.
