Seven Days of Full-On Heli-Ski Action – Around 30 Big Mountain Drops in One of the Top Freeride Spots on Earth!
We’re going big – presenting a freeride trip to one of the wildest, most remote places on the planet. Alaska, much like Kamchatka (which we likely won’t return to anytime soon…), is a true symbol of untamed mountains where nature rules over man.
And what better place to unleash the most thrilling, sophisticated form of freeriding – heli-skiing (or heli-boarding)?
If you’re a fan of winter sports films, Alaska needs no introduction. This is where the most jaw-dropping lines are filmed – among ribbed 50°+ slopes – and where the very term „big mountain freeride” was probably born 😉
For a week, we’ll be shredding helicopter-accessed lines you won’t find anywhere else on Earth – often riding all the way down to sea level. There’ll be plenty of time to connect with riders from around the world, explore Anchorage and Valdez, and feast on wild-caught salmon.
Are you ready for the crème de la crème of your freeride adventures so far?

OFF PISTE – Terrain Details:
- Our freeride adventures will take place around the town of Valdez, in the Chugach Mountains – known for their deep snowpack and truly steep descent options
- Heli-Ski:
- We’ve got five “engine hours” in the heli, which translates to roughly 25–35 drops total, depending on elevation gain
- Valdez is at sea level, while the peaks we’ll be flying to range from 1,400 to 1,800 meters
- Vertical drops will vary between 750 and 1,500 meters
- The slopes have varying inclines, from 30 to 50+ degrees, and the terrain is high alpine
- We ride in groups of four with a certified guide
- The difficulty of the runs will be tailored to the group’s ability
- Keep in mind that Alaska’s weather can be unpredictable, with conditions that may prevent flying. That’s why we aim to make the most of every good weather window and fly out as efficiently as we can within our heli-time package
Difficulty Level: 8/10

- This trip is geared toward advanced riders, meaning those who are comfortable skiing or snowboarding in deep powder on complex alpine terrain with slopes up to 40 degrees.
